If you are a grower interested in working with Four5Four, we want you to receive the best results possible. In order for us to achieve the highest quality extracts from your grow, it is imperative you follow these tips when preparing and packaging your product.

• Harvesting

  • Flower Focused ​— Optimal to remove excess fan leaves and stems from flower for extraction as they take up space and weight and do not contribute to yield

  • Prepped flower/buds/trim should move to the packaging step ASAP to preserve the whole plant flavor for Fresh Frozen. It is also beneficial to package dry product to properly help preserve plant material and active cannabinoids as noted below

• Packaging for Processing (2 Choices)

  • Option 1: Vacuum Seal

    • Load fresh flower/buds/trim immediately after harvest into vacuum seal bag to preserve freshness

      • Ideal size/weight is 6 lbs. per vacuum seal bag.

      • Leave 4 inches on each end of the vac seal bags to allow room for light vacuum.

  • Option 2: Turkey Bags

    • Leave enough space in the turkey bag so that it can be easily opened and closed without crushing the material

    • Please use a twist tie or loose knot when tying off the bags

• Labeling​​

  • All Bags should be labeled with the following:

    • Caregiver/Patient Name

    • Package Date

    • Strain(s)

    • Weight of material (will be verified upon receipt)
